From the City Centre
Take the N11 southbound
Take right turn at Whites Cross onto Leopardstown Rd.
Turn left into Leopardstown Racecourse
Go straight through Leopardstown Racecourse until you come to a roundabout
Go through three roundabouts following the signs for Kilternan
Take left turn off Glenamuck Rd. approx. 150 metres after third roundabout. There is a signpost for the equestrian centre on the right hand side of the road.
Go straight up the lane and turn to the right at a house with a stonewall in front of it and continue straight and you will see the gates for the centre on your right.
From the M50
Exit at Junction 15 signposted Kilternan and Cornelscourt.
Follow signs for Kilternan
Go through roundabouts (three if exiting from southbound two if exiting northbound) following the signs for Kilternan
Take left turn off Glenamuck Rd. approx. 150 metres after last roundabout. There is a signpost for the equestrian centre on the right hand side of the road.
Go straight up the lane and turn to the right at a house with a stonewall in front of it and continue straight and you will see the gates to the centre on the right.
By Public Transport
Luas
The Luas green line travels between St Stephens Green and Cherrywood. The closest stop to Carrickmines Equestrian Centre is Ballyogan Wood, this stop is 1.2 miles from Carrickmines Equestrian Centre, roughly a twenty minute walk. On exiting the station cross the road at the pedestrian lights and turn left heading towards Carrickmines retail park. At the roadabout keep right passing the entrance to the retail centre. At the next roundabout, again keep right, you are now on Glenamuck road south, cross the road once again. Approximately 200m after the roundabout turn left onto Springfield lane. The laneway is signposted for Carrickmines Equestrian Centre.
Dublin bus routes 63 and 44 serve the centre.
The No.63 bus leaves Dun Laoghaire, bakers corner, cornels court and kilternan,Cornelscourt. If you ask the bus driver to leave you off at Carrickmines Equestrian Centre he will leave you at the end of the lane which leads up to the centre which leaves you with a 8 minute walk to the equestrian centre. The bus journey will normally take 40 minutes but allow for 1 hour at rush hour times. The No. 44 bus leaves from Hawkins Street and comes out through Ranelagh, Dundrum and Stepaside. If you get off the bus at Kilternan and walk down Glenamuck Rd. Take the second right off Glenamuck Rd. There is a signpost for the equestrian centre on the left hand side of the road. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from Kilternan to the centre.
